How do you feel about the provision of appointments at your local GP? Have you had a good (or bad) stay at a Welsh NHS hospital? These are among the questions contained in a public consultation on the Welsh NHS, launched recently by Welsh Conservatives.
Urging constituents to take part in the survey, Monmouth Assembly Member Nick Ramsay said: “Welsh Conservatives have campaigned tirelessly for proper investment in the Welsh NHS, which has been the subject of a number of high profile reports in the media recently – from suspended nurses at one health board to rocketing waiting lists.
“Judging from the number of letters and emails I receive, many of my constituents are unhappy about having to wait far too long for appointments and operations. This is a great opportunity for members of the public to make their views known on a wide range of issues and to pinpoint areas where they feel the Welsh NHS performs well as well as areas where they feel there is room for improvements.
“The survey, which is running throughout the summer, only takes around five minutes to complete. Your response will help us to press the Welsh Government to ensure your concerns are raised and hopefully acted on. “
