Health and Safety inspections of headstones and kerbsets will take place at Great Orme Cemetery and Llangwstenin Cemetery from June 2010.

From 15 June 2010, as part of a rolling 5 year Health and Safety Memorial Inspection programme, Conwy County Borough Council will start Health and Safety inspections of headstones and kerbsets in the two cemeteries named above.
Any memorial which is deemed to be unsafe, having failed the inspection, and not in compliance with the National Association of Memorial Masons Code of Practice, will be temporarily made safe and notification letters sent to the last known grave owner recorded in our registers.
A list of failed headstones will be available to view on the Conwy County Borough Council website.
