Every day people go hungry for many different reasons ranging from redundancy to receiving an unexpected bill whilst on a low income. Foodbanks help by providing emergency food and support to people experiencing crisis.

Cardiff and Vale University Health Board’s Patient Experience Team and Health Board volunteers will be holding a food collection for Cardiff Foodbank on 20th July, between the hours of 9am and 3.30pm

Collection points will be located at the Concourse at University Hospital of Wales and also at the Information and Support Centre and the Chapel at University Hospital Llandough.

Michelle Fowler, Volunteer Services Manager at Cardiff and Vale UHB said, “We were overwhelmed with the donations received from patients, visitors and staff during our last collection, in December. Please donate to Cardiff Foodbank what you can to help those in need.”
