Looking to cook up a storm in the kitchen? Then a healthy cooking course being planned in Denbighshire could be on the menu for you.
The OCN Level 1 Healthy Eating Through Practical Cookery course will be held on August 12-13 and August 16 at Ruthin Rugby Club between 9.30am and 3pm.
The course will look at current recommendations around the Eat Well plate, food groups, reading labels, there will be a practical element in the kitchen and a food hygiene certificate.
The course, being developed by the F-Factor programme, Denbighshire County Council and Glyndwr University Wrexham is being funded by the Big Lottery Fund.
The sessions will be delivered by Community Dietetics Services, Betsi Cadwaladr University Health Board, in partnership with Coleg Harlech, Welsh Education Authority and Conwy County Borough Council.
The course is free for participants who will be working on the F-Factor Fun Clubs from September. Otherwise participants will need to pay £45.
