Parents of young children in the Caerphilly county borough are being encouraged to take their babies and toddlers along to a special healthy living event at Llancaiach Fawr in Nelson next week.
Health Challenge Caerphilly County Borough and the Communities First Partnerships are inviting local people to their special ‘Change4Life’ day on Monday 11th July (10am – 2pm).
The FREE family fun day is part of the national ‘Change 4 Life’ campaign aimed at encouraging more people of all ages to lead a healthier lifestyle.
Last year’s event in Ystrad Mynach attracted over 300 people and it is hoped that even more will come along this year. The event will once again deliver the between 0 and 4.
Activities on the day include baby bushtucker trials, come wean with me, active tots, creative play, baby music, baby yoga / massage, singing, sun safety, designed to smile, toddler into trouble and much, much, more. The day is being delivered in partnership with 12 organisations.
The event will provide support and information, in a fun and interactive way, to empower parents to make healthier choices – for themselves and their children.
