Pembrokeshire Roads Policing Unit has been continuing with targeted operations in a bid to keep our roads safe.
Over the weekend a heavy goods vehicle check was carried out on the A477 at Sageston targeting foreign goods vehicles heading for Pembroke Dock Port.
A total of 17 vehicles were checked over a two hour period with 5 vehicles found with offences.
Three drivers were reported for tachograph offences and issued with graduated fixed penalties totalling £1,100 in fines and two drivers vehicles were so dangerous they were given immediate prohibitions.
