Torfaen council is appealing for public assistance to prevent vandalism at Greenmeadow Community Farm.
The farm has been plagued with a recent spate of attempted break-ins and mindless vandalism.
The farm management is now calling on eagle-eyed residents to help it crack down on the irresponsible vandals who are committing the crimes.
The leader of Torfaen council, councillor Bob Wellington, said: “I cannot imagine what would drive anyone to commit such acts of senseless vandalism and appeal to anyone with information to contact the police immediately.
“The irresponsible actions of these vandals cost the taxpayers of Torfaen money, by creating unnecessary and wasteful expense for the council.
“The vandalism attacks are extremely disruptive, affecting the way we operate and the services we provide.
“I am appalled by their actions and strongly urge the public to be vigilant and report anyone acting suspiciously at or around Greenmeadow Community Farm.”
No money or valuables are kept on the site outside opening hours and security measures at the farm are being reviewed.
Anyone seen acting suspiciously at the farm should be reported to the police. Confidential calls can also be made to Crimestoppers on 0800 555 111
