Howard Marks – Thank the lord he’s Welsh

Howard Marks, the legendary drug smuggler, paid a special tribute to the Welsh when on tour back in Wales last week.

In Swansea Grand in front of 800 people – one of the biggest crowds of his tour – he paid a special tribute to the Welsh, his Welsh author and Welsh publisher, Y Lolfa. During the launch of his new book Two Dragons, Howard said “With author Alun Gibbard and my Welsh publisher I felt I could say how I really feel!”

In Two Dragons Howard Marks pulls together a personal journey that took him back to his Welsh roots and around the globe to discover his family history, including links with none other than the equally notorious outlaw, Billy the Kid, as well as an account of the making of the film MrNice and the role of the film in his rediscovery of Wales.
