More than 500 jobs will be available at a special event being held at City Hall on Thursday.
“More than a Jobsfair” has been organised by Cardiff Council’s Local Training & Enterprise team and Jobcentre Plus and will provide an opportunity for people to find out more about the wide variety of job prospects in the hospitality, catering and call centre sectors.
As well as the hundreds of jobs on offer anyone attending will also be able to benefit from free psychometric testing/profiling, brush up their CV’s and listen to a number of presentations.
Last year the event was very successful in placing local people into work, and this year’s job’s fair is bigger and better with even more companies on board who are actively looking to employ people.
These include Hilton, Park Inn, Radisson Blu, Admiral, British Gas, Costa Coffee, Harvesters Restaurants, J.D. Wetherspoon, New Look, Pizza Hut, Tiger Tiger, Wales Millennium Centre, and many more.
The free event will be held at City Hall, Cathays Park, Cardiff, from 10am to 3pm on Thursday (April 21).
