You’ll need to hurry to catch Chicago, starring Eastender Emma Barton and chart-topper Marti Pellow, at the Wales Millennium Centre from January 18 -23.
Tickets are limited but you can join a waiting list or call the box office for returns.
The international award-winning musical that just keeps on running is based on real-life events back in the roaring 1920s. Nightclub singer Roxie Hart shoots her lover and along with Cell Block rival, double-murderess Velma Kelly, fights to keep off death row with the help of smooth-talking lawyer, Billy Flynn.
Created by the musical theatre talents of John Kander, Fred Ebb and legendary choreographer Bob Fosse, Chicago is sexy, it’s sassy and has a fantastic score that includes All That Jazz and Razzle Dazzle. With six Tonys, two Oliviers, a Grammy, two Baftas and six Academy Awards, Chicago earns its reputation as, “The sharpest, slickest show on the block” (The Times).
“ Murder, greed, corruption, exploitation, adultery and treachery… all those things we hold near and dear to our hearts…”
