Wrexham MP Ian Lucas is urging musicians and filmmakers in his constituency to enter a unique competition.
Musicians are being urged to enter the Rock The House competition and filmmakers the Film the House competition. Parliament’s largest competitions, Rock the House and Film the House were founded by Intellectual Property Advisor to the Prime Minister, Mike Weatherley MP.
Judged by leading industry figures, the competitions have a wider range of prizes.
Mr Lucas said:
“Wrexham bands have taken part in Rock the House before and I have had the pleasure of welcoming some of them to Parliament. Both competitions are really worth entering and I would urge people to grasp this opportunity!”
Mike Weatherley MP added:
“Every year the competition gets bigger and better and my thanks go to our Patrons, Sponsors, Judges, the entrants, the MPs who take part. If you’re a musician or a film maker, make sure you take part in the 2014 competition.”
