Flintshire County Council services will be disrupted on Wednesday 30 November due to a one day national strike by public sector workers. Many council buildings and offices will be closed with significant disruption to all services including schools.
There will be a limited number of employees during normal working hours (8.30am to 5pm) at County Hall, Mold to deal with emergencies on 01352 752121. County Offices in Flint and Connah’s Quay will be closed.
SOCIAL SERVICES
Adult Social Care and Children’s Services service users will be contacted individually if the services they receive from the council are to be disrupted.
SCHOOLS
Parents will be notified by head teachers whether or not individual schools will be open. Parents should also check the Council’s web site for up to date information on school closures.
DOMESTIC REFUSE AND RECYCLING COLLECTION
Residents will be informed of any revised collection arrangements resulting from the industrial action.
RECYCLING PARKS
Please check the Council’s web site before travelling as we may not be able to open and operate the Parks safely.

It is recommended that customers check with individual leisure centres by telephone or on our website before visiting them.
LIBRARIES
All libraries other than those at Flint and Holywell will be closed to the public. The mobile and housebound library services will not be operating.
CASH OFFICES
Cash offices in Flint, Connah’s Quay, Buckley, Mold Town Hall and County Hall, Mold will all be closed.
CLWYD THEATR CYMRU
No theatre or film performances.
MOLD STREET MARKET
Operating as normal.
