Social Care in Partnership (SCiP) and Coleg Llandrillo are hosting a joint recruitment event at Llandrillo College on 29 April from 9:30am to 3:30pm for anyone interested in pursuing any kind of career in social care.
From care assistant to social worker, the event is aimed at raising the profile of social care and highlighting the many career pathways available through either academic or vocational routes. In addition, there will be presentations from Conwy and Denbighshire Social Services staff.
There will also be an opportunity to meet employers within the field of residential care, nursing care and domiciliary care, which will enable anyone considering a career within these fields to gain first hand information about working within the Social Care sector.
Lastly, there will be presentations on training opportunities, college courses and work-based learning opportunities and Llandrillo College’s new initiative Skillbuild – Preparing for work in the Care Sector, NVQ training and Modern apprenticeships.
