If so, don’t miss out on our free training course for unemployed people who might be interested in becoming a street market trader – and the course also provides information about setting up your own business too.
It’s a five day course designed to provide people with an awareness of the industry, and the skills and knowledge required to become self-employed.
Some of the elements covered on the course are:
- Selling and interpersonal skills
- Support and advice on how to become self employed
- Trading Standards, permits, and by-laws
- Running a market stall
- Product research, display and wholesale knowledge
- Visit to a wholesaler

This free five day course is being run in Holywell Library on Tuesday 3rd, Wednesday 4th, Thursday 5 April; and Tuesday 10th and Wednesday 11 April.
The course will run from 10am to 3pm each day, with refreshments provided.
