Under the Countryside and Rights of Way (CRoW) Act 2000 it was a requirement for all local authorities with an AONB in their area to produce and publish an AONB Management Plan.
The first Isle of Anglesey AONB Management Plan under the CRoW Act was published in 2004 extending to the period of 2009.
The second Isle of Anglesey AONB Management Plan for the period 2010 – 2014 is currently undergoing extensive consultation and you are warmly invited to a series of drop in days at the following venues:
- Monday 13 September: Amlwch Scouts Hall, 10am – 6pm
- Tuesday 14 September: Kingsland Community Centre, Holyhead, 10am – 6pm
- Wednesday 15 September: Llangefni Town Hall, 10am – 6pm
- Thursday 16 September: David Hughes Community Centre, Beaumaris, 10am – 6pm
- Friday 17 September: Brynsiencyn Village Hall, 10am – 6pm
The consultation period will end on 6pm on Friday 17 of September. If you are unable to attend any of the above drop in days please send all representations to [email protected] Access to the draft AONB Management Plan can be made via the County Council’s website, all public libraries on Anglesey and the County Council’s main reception and Planning office reception.
