Once in a while, we see something startling. Someone who’s vision, whose way of seeing in shocking, unsettling and compelling. Welcome to the world of our good friend Jacqueline Janine Jones.
Jacqueline was born in West Wales in 1967, but has lived most of her life in the industrial and post-industrial world of the Rhondda Valleys. She has exhibited at the Whitechapel Gallery in London, in Liverpool, Cardiff and is currently exhibiting in New York.
Her work is unfiltered, bursting with life in all its obduracy. Her voice is unusual and unmistakably authentic.
Her new show 40 New Paintings starts Saturday 5th February 2pm at Ffin Y Parc Country House & Gallery
