Cardiff Central AM Jenny Randerson and prospective AM Nigel Howells today visited the ACT Skills Academy in Cardiff to learn more about the training and employment services it offers to those in need.
Nigel Howells said:
“The ACT Skills Academy does a great job providing training and skills to young people. It was really positive to see in action how young people are benefitting from the work it does.”
Jenny Randerson AM added:
“The ACT Skills Academy focuses on young people who are not in education, employment, or training. This was a very appropriate visit on the day the Assembly Enterprise and Learning Committee produced its report which stresses how much more needs to be done to ensure young people are not marginalised from society.”
