Bird box building, snake surveying, bush craft skills and adventure games are just some of the activities on offer for teenagers at a new action-packed wildlife club in Aberbargoed.
The ‘Teen Rangers’ club is looking to recruit new members, so if you know someone who is wildlife mad, aged 11 – 14 years old, loves exploring, carrying out practical work and enjoys everything outdoors then this is the club for them.
‘Teen Rangers’ meet once a month, on a Sunday afternoon from 1.30pm to 4.30pm and is FREE. The club aims to provide youngsters with the opportunity to get practically involved in wildlife conservation in a fun way.
Membership is limited so if you know someone who would love to be apart of the club please contact Andy Wilkinson (Senior Environmental Education Ranger) on 01495 273318 for more information and a membership form.
Teen Rangers’ is run by Caerphilly County Borough Councils Countryside and Landscape Services.
