Clwyd West MP David Jones attended the Cantata2 networking event held at ParcFarm, Llanarmon-yn-Iâl, last Friday.
The Cantata2 project, led by Denbighshire County Council, focuses on tourism development connecting small and medium enterprises to help exploit local potential and improve competitiveness.
The project has produced a website aimed at attracting visitors to the many attractions Denbighshire has to offer.
David Jones said:
“Tourism is of great importance to the economy of rural North Wales.
“Here in Denbighshire we have a wealth of attractions for visitors and the Cantata2 initiative will help to focus attention on them.
“The website “http://www.specialplacesindenbighshire.co.uk”, in particular, is attractive and innovative and should do much to generate interest for potential visitors.
“I was very pleased to meet local representatives of the hospitality industry at the event on Friday.”
