Get the half-term break off to a great start by dropping in at the Castle and coming face to face with a medieval knight.
On Saturday 19 and Sunday 20 February 10.30am – 4.30pm, you will find our knight in residence, ready, armed and dressed for battle. But a suit of armour is not the easiest piece of kit to slip into as you will discover in ‘How a knight shall be armed’.
Take a close look at the intricacies of the armour, feel its weight and children will have the chance to try on a few pieces too. There will be tales of ferocious fights on the battlefield and displays of precision timing and skill in the archery displays.
