At a lantern-lit evening on Friday 26 February, 2010, the Ceredigion Museum offers an opportunity to go behind the scenes at Aberystwyth’s Coliseum to take in parts of the museum stores not normally open to the public. After a glass of bubbly, Jez Danks will lead visitors around the atmospheric old theatre which was designed by architect Arthur Jones of Aberystwyth in 1903 an now houses the Ceredigion Museum.
This year the Ceredigion Museum is taking a fresh look at its collections and having a spring clean of its extensive stores. The collection stores are central to the running of the Ceredigion Museum.
