The Master of Business Administration programme at Glamorgan Business School has recently appointed an Employer’s Panel to help guide and develop the course.
The panel members are experts in their fields and have an understanding of the requirements and rigours of the MBA. Their purpose is to advise the MBA team on the delivery and development of the programme from the perspective of potential employers and practitioners, and are an invaluable link to business practice which is at the core of the module programme. The panels meets with the Glamorgan MBA team on a regular basis and discusses various aspects of the programme. Most recent meetings have discussed themes such as: business problem solving; marketing of the MBA; dissertations and business projects. From these discussions the MBA is implementing changes to the way that the MBA is delivered and presented.
The panel consists of Dr Peter Williams (Head of Customer and Product Management at Telefonica O2), Owen Evans, (Director for Business in the Community Wales) Paul Gorin (Managing Director – Marble Recruitment Wales) Rowenna Williams (Businss Improvement Consultante, BT) and Aled Rowlands (BBC Wales Researcher).
Rowenna Williams said:
“I enjoy sitting on the MBA employers’ panel, not only do I learn more about Glamorgan and MBA delivery but I directly help marry the needs of students and businesses.”
