Congratulations to Luci Attala who recently won a national award and has been highly commended for her work as an inspirational tutor by NIACE Dysgu Cymru, the national body that promotes adult learning in Wales.
Luci AttalaLuci was recognised for her work as an academic tutor on Foundation Studies from nearly a hundred other nominees in Wales.
Luci works both at the University of Wales Lampeter and with the Open University teaching anthropology, academic writing, and communication skills including body language and behaviour. Her classes aim to prepare students for higher education by giving them skills to continue in their education. It was her work at Lampeter that was particularly noticed by the judges because of her ability to inspire, promote and empower students to learn more and progress.
