Wrexham’s AM, Lesley Griffiths, is urging the town’s residents to join a Credit Union as part of a Labour-led campaign.
All Labour Assembly Members in Wales are currently members of a credit union, and are encouraging as many people as possible to benefit from membership.
Speaking today (15th October) on International Credit Union Day, Lesley Griffiths said:
“Credit Unions offer an accessible, low risk and easy place to save money, and give access to low cost loans.
“Many now offer other services such as Child Trust Fund accounts, ISAs, insurance products, budgeting advice and debt management.
“I urge the people of Wrexham to join our local credit union and take advantage of these facilities.”
Wrexham County Borough Credit Union is located at 1 North Arcade, Chester Street, Wrexham LL13 8BB. People can contact the Union on 01978 266843 l or via email on: [email protected]
