A public meeting has been arranged to discuss local resident’s concerns with Llanddulas landfill.
Following complaints from a number of constituents, Assembly Member for Clwyd West Darren Millar has organised a public meeting to allow local residents the opportunity to voice their concerns. Representatives from Llanddulas Landfill operators WRG Limited and the Environment Agency Wales will also attend the meeting.
Darren said:
‘A number of local residents have contacted me regarding their concerns with Llanddulas Landfill. Complaints focus on noise, litter, pests and odour from the site.
‘I’ve arranged this public meeting to ensure that local resident’s complaints are dealt with effectively and that any problems associated with the site are dealt with by those responsible.
‘The Environment Agency will also be explaining the steps they are taking to monitoring odours and noise and what enforcement action they are taking to resolve local concerns.
‘I would encourage as many people as possible to turn up and have their say.’
The meeting to discuss Llanddulas landfill will be held at Thursday 17th February at 6.30pm at Llanddulas Village Hall.
