Clwyd West AM Darren Millar met with students from the Institute of Health and Social Care at Coleg Llandrillo in Rhos-on-Sea earlier this week.
Darren visited students at the Institute of Health and Social Care at Coleg Llandrillo on Wednesday to speak about his work as an Assembly Member and to take part in a lively question and answer session on a whole host of topical issues.
Darren Millar AM said:
“I always enjoy visiting Coleg Llandrillo to meet with staff and students and Wednesday was no exception. Talking to young people about my work as an AM is in important way to engage them in the democratic process.
“The students gave me a grilling on all sorts of issues including organ donation, smacking ban proposals and the carrier bag levy – they also expressed their concerns over the closure of the local minor injuries unit in Colwyn Bay Hospital.
“I was pleased to see them taking an interest in local and national politics and wish them every success for the future.”
