North Wales Police are continuing to appeal for witnesses in relation to the incident in Llangollen where a man received a gun shot wound.
The incident is believed to have happened between 12.45pm and 13.30pm yesterday (Wednesday 19 May) on the A5 road entering Llangollen, between the Chain Bridge and the White Water Country Hotel, where the victim is known to have been travelling in a black Suzuki Vitara Jeep.
The victim is currently in a stable condition in Wrexham Maelor Hospital and is assisting North Wales Police with their investigation.
Inspector Iestyn Davies said: “Incidents involving firearms are uncommon in North Wales, however the police are anxious to trace anyone who may have been in the vicinity yesterday afternoon.”
