A man from the Denbigh area has been arrested and is in custody at St Asaph where he is being interviewed in connection with an armed robbery at the Co-op store in Regent Street, Llangollen around 7.50pm on January 20.
The offenders fled empty handed and a knife has been recovered.
DI Iestyn Davies said; “A number of properties in the Denbigh area have been searched in an attempt to locate two males in connection with the offence and these searches continue.
“I would ask anyone with information to contact North Wales Police on 101.”
