Do you have concerns regarding issues in your community?
Then pop in for a chat at the Library and meet the Llanidloes Neighbourhood Management Team.
As part of our commitment to community engagement Dyfed-Powys Police is providing the residents of Llanidloes and the surrounding areas the opportunity to chat on a fortnightly basis to a local Neighbourhood Management Team representative.
The surgeries will take place at Llanidloes Library starting on 2 November between 4.30pm and 6.30pm, and then every other Tuesday between 4:30pm and 6:30pm.
They will enable members of the community to come and meet the Neighbourhood Management Team and share their concerns and ideas regarding a variety of local issues including Anti-Social Behaviour.
Organiser PC Suzanne Duncombe said: “With the autumn and winter months approaching there can be an increase in anti-social behaviour – such as the misuse of fireworks around Bonfire Night. I hope that by offering these surgeries as an alternative to the previous PACT meetings held in Llanidloes, we will see an increase in the number of people who attend. The surgeries have been designed to give people the chance to engage with Neighbourhood Management Officers in a private and informal setting. We want the residents of the town and surrounding areas such as Llangurig, Staylittle and Twlych to join us, and feel safe and confident in the service we provide.”
