Clwyd West Assembly Darren Millar took time to meet with patients suffering from lung disease at an event in Rhyl last week. The event took place in Wellington Community Centre in Rhyl as part of the British Lung Foundation’s ‘Breathe Easy’ week.
Speaking after the event, Darren said:
‘I’m delighted to support the British Lung Foundation’s “Breathe Easy” week. This fantastic campaign highlights the importance of lung health.
‘The event today was an opportunity for me to hear at first-hand what people with lung disease feel about their health service. The people I met were keen to discuss their experiences of the present health service and give me their thoughts on how it can be improved. They also expressed their concerns about waiting times for access to treatment and rehabilitation services.
‘It was an invaluable event. The British Lung Foundation do a fantastic job and I’m delighted to support their work.’
