On Sunday, London Scottish will play their first cross border away match of the British & Irish Cup competition, when they travel to West Wales to take on Llanelli RFC. The match will be a great opportunity for Scottish to test themselves in the renowned environment of the Parc y Scarlets stadium (2pm KO).
Scottish have named a strong pack in a competition they have, in previous rounds, used as an opportunity to give fringe squad members game time. Club captain Lewis Calder starts as he continues his comeback from a knee injury that kept him out of the first few games of the season, as does first-choice lock Josh Thomas Brown and hooker Tom Standfield. Young Wasps scrum-half Jonah Holmes will also make his Scottish bow after being signed for the season on a duel-registration basis.
