Love Where You Live Shortlist Announced

The competition is heating up as this year’s Love Where You Live awards applicants are short-listed.

Residents across Rhondda Cynon Taf have come forward in their droves to show how much they love where they live, with a record numbers of applications being received.

With over 80 excellent applications received across the categories the judges of the competition had a tough job sifting through them in a bid to shortlist the finalists and find the green champions of Rhondda Cynon Taf.

“The Love Where You Live Awards aim to inspire the local community and businesses to join in and assist us in improving their community, as well as highlighting the achievements of the many environmental champions we have across Rhondda Cynon Taf.

“Annually the Love Where You Live Awards has grown to become one of the highlights of the Rhondda Cynon Taf calendar and the entries this year prove that this year will be even bigger and better with the highest number of entries being received. The awards involve so many different sections of the community who are committed to improving the local environment for the benefit of everyone. By working together we can make Rhondda Cynon Taf an even cleaner and greener place to live in, work in and visit.”
