Cardiff Design Festival Gets Lyrical
Poets, both established or aspiring, are encouraged to come and try their hand at this year’s inaugural Lyrical Design Poetry Slam, part of Cardiff’s famous Design Festival.
Lyrical Design is an open-to-all, audience-judged slam – come and wax lyrical on a design-inspired piece in the 1st round, with any topic you like in the 2nd and 3rd. Let out your inner voice with any kind of poem in any style, from hip-hop to haiku, sonic to sonnet, rap-style rhythm to free verse. The winner will receive the title of Lyrical Design Slam Champ, a certificate, and a goody bag filled with books and mags courtesy of Parthian press and Square Magazine.
