As part of the Macmillan Cancer Care BIG Coffee Morning Barclays Bank held one at their branch in Narberth. South Pembrokeshire AM Angela Burns and Customers of the bank were treated to a cup of coffee and some of the finest Welsh cakes which were donated by staff at the bank supporting Macmillan Cancer Care.
Angela Burns said , “For such an important charity which I fully support, this was a delightful morning. People walking into the bank had no idea that they were going to be treated to coffee and Welsh cakes. So many people in Pembrokeshire showed their generosity and appreciated Barclays supporting Macmillan Cancer Care. I am so pleased to hear that Barclays will be match funding the amount raised by Macmillan on the day to support such an important and crucial local cause.”
