Following the Dragons victory over Magners League leaders Munster of Friday, the Scarlets, Blues and Ospreys all collected victories in a whitewash for Welsh sides.
Aironi Rugby 17 v 34 Scarlets
A late onslaught from the Scarlets in Northern Italy moved them to just two points behind Magners League leaders Munster.
Banishing the memories of their last Italian outing, Nigel Davies’ men fought back from 10-0 down to clinch a bonus point victory over Aironi.
Scrum-half Tito Tedbaldi kicked an early penalty for the hosts and then converted his own try to put his side 10 points clear.
Rhys Priestland replied with a penalty for the Welsh side before Morgan Stoddart touched down for the first of his two tries four minutes before half time. Priestland converted and added a drop goal before the break to send the visitors in three-points ahead.
Priestland kicked another penalty at the start of the second half before Gabriel Pizarro dived over for Aironi. Tebaldi kicked the conversion and regained the lead for his side.
The response from the Scarlets was immediate and Priestland added another penalty before Johnathan Edwards and centre Gareth Maule both touched down.
Stoddart added his second a minute from time, securing the bonus point but Priestland missed all three conversions.
Cardiff Blues 38 v 6 Glasgow Warriors
The Blues ran out 38 v 6 winners at the Cardiff City Stadium, collecting a bonus point on their way as they outclassed the Warriors.
The Blues started the game in confident mood in freezing conditions in the Welsh capital.
Ceri Sweeney and Colin Gregor exchanged early penalties before the Blues crossed for the game’s first try. The hosts shunned a shot at goal for a line-out and the gamble paid off as full-back Dan Fish rounded off a sweeping move in the opposite corner.
Gregor kicked a second penalty for the Warriors before Sweeney extended the Blues’ lead with two of his own.
Sweeney then touched down after a darting run from half-back partner Tom Slater and converted his try before adding a further penalty.
Slater was again at the heart of the Blues attack and his break from his own 22 set up Kiwi Michael Paterson who scored under the posts.
Richard Mustoe then rounded off the victory and collected the valuable try-scoring bonus point, racing 50-metres to score.
Ospreys 19 v 15 Leinster
Welsh fly-half Dan Biggar scored 14-points as the Magners League champions beat Leinster at the Liberty Stadium.
In a repeat of last season’s Grand Final, the Irish side outscored their hosts by two tries to one but Biggar was on form to clinch victory for the Ospreys.
The Ospreys were without 21 players due to a mix of international commitments and injuries but took the lead through Biggar penalty before Isa Nacewa cancelled it out with a strike of his own.
19-year-old Andrew Conway got the only try of the first half, spinning away from the covering defence to score.
Biggar chipped back at the score line with two penalties as half time approached.
The Ospreys continued to dominate the set-piece and Leinster conceeded another penalty at a scrum and Biggar kicked over his fourth penalty.
The visitors regained the lead just two minutes later though, Nacewa pouncing on a mistake by Richard Fussell to score.
Leinster lost both Ed O’Donoghue and Ian Madigan to the sin bin within minutes of each other and the Ospreys took full advantage of their two extra men.
A series of five-metre scrums resulted in a penalty try for the hosts which Biggar converted.
