Make a splash again at Pentrehafod Pool

Water babies can now once again make a splash at Swansea’sPentrehafod Pool.

The pool has been closed since the summer for essential maintenance works but is back available to the public from Monday January 25.

Swansea Council was behind the works.

Dave Osborne, the Council’s Leisure Operations Manager, said: “We’re delighted to announce the re-opening of Pentrehafod Swimming Pool and look forward to welcoming back the regular users as well as attracting new swimmers to explore the facilities.

“And as a special re-opening offer to thank the local community, people of all ages are invited to swim completely free of charge on Monday January 25.”

The free activities on the day include the public swim from 4pm, the female only swim from 4.45pm and the aqua aerobics session from 6.30pm.

Swansea Council is committed to welcoming everyone through the doors of its leisure facilities.

Female only swimming sessions will be held every Monday at Pentrehafod Pool between 4.45pm and 5.30pm.

During these sessions the blinds will be closed and there’ll only be female lifeguards on duty.

Other activities on offer at the pool include both adult and children’s swimming lessons as well as aqua aerobics.
