An injured man and his dog were rescued yesterday (Sunday, 17th January) in the Worlds End/Minera area.
North East Wales Search and Rescue (NEWSAR) and the North Wales Police Helicopter were scrambled shortly after 2:30pm, and after a search the police helicopter located the injured male and his dog.
One of the helicopter crew was dropped off at the scene to administer first aid whilst the aircraft then completed several trips to airlift four members of NEWSAR from the rendezvous point to the scene.
The male and the dog were then helped down the mountainside to safety by the NEWSAR team members. They were reported to be safe and well.
