Man arrested following stabbing incident in Rhyl

A man has been arrested in connection with an incident that occurred at a property in Kinmel Street, Rhyl, this afternoon (Wednesday, October 6).

At 3.23pm today police were alerted to an incident as a result of which a 29-year-old man has sustained stab wounds to his body and a 53-year-old is also believed to have sustained a stab wound.

Both the 29-year-old and the 53-year-old were conveyed to hospital by the ambulance service and are now receiving treatment at Ysbyty Glan Clwyd in Bodelwyddan.

At this time, North Wales Police are not looking for anyone else in connecting with the incident.

A weapon has been recovered from the scene.

CCTV is being studied as part of the investigation.
