Ebenezer Baptist Church in the Civic Square in Port Talbot will once again host Neath Port Talbot Council’s annual Christmas Carol Service.
County Borough Mayor, Pam Thomas, together with members of the Council, will be present at the service.
Now in its 19th year, the carol service is a popular event in the Council’s calendar.
Presented by Peter Davies, the soloist this year is Angharad Rees from Tonmawr and the organist will again be Huw Thomas.
Also taking part in this year’s service will be CÔr Meibion Aberafan and CÔr Afanedd. The schools in Neath Port Talbot will be represented by choirs from Ysgol Gynradd Gymraeg Rhosafan and Traethmelyn Primary School.
As usual, admission to the carol service will be by programme, available free from the Civic Centre, Port Talbot. There will be a collection during the service for the Mayor’s Charity Appeal.
The Christmas Carol Service will be held in Ebenezer Baptist Church in the Civic Square, Port Talbot on Tuesday 15th December, 2009 at 7.00pm.
