Future presenters and producers got the inside track on a career in the media when they recently visited ITV studios.
Creative Media Production students from Coleg Gwent’s Ebbw Vale Campus took a look inside ITV studios, met news readers and even got a guided tour from The Ferret presenter Hannah Thomas.
“From news and sports correspondents, to producers and camera operators, students were able to learn about a wide range of media careers and had a fantastic day,” said the group’s personal tutor Kerys Welsh.
Students watched a live news broadcast and even stepped into the shoes of presenters to look the part on the newsroom sofas.
