Medieval re-enactors take over Loggerheads Country Park

Come along to Loggerheads Country Park on the weekend of Saturday 23rd and Sunday 24th July between 11 a.m. and 4 p.m. for exciting activities with the medieval re-enactment group, Cymud Iâl.

The group will be camped at Loggerheads and promise activities that will be fun for all the family. Come and learn about what medieval life was like and watch the group re-enacting battles!

Cymud Iâl is a re-enactment group based in the local area which has taken part in many events in Wales and across the UK.

Fiona Gale, an archaeologist with Denbighshire Countryside Service, said: “This is a fantastic way to get an insight into what life was like for our forebears in the Middle Ages. We are delighted that the group has come to Loggerheads Country Park to help us celebrate the Festival of British Archaeology 2011”.
