Medieval re-enactors take over Loggerheads Country Park

Come along to Loggerheads Country Park on the weekend of Saturday 21st and Sunday 22nd July at any time between 11 a.m. and 4 p.m. for exciting activities with the medieval re-enactment group, The Age of the Princes. The group will be camped at Loggerheads and promise activities that will be fun for all the family. Come and learn about what medieval life was like and watch the group re-enacting battles!

The Age of the Princes is a local re-enactment group which has taken part in many events in Wales and across the UK. ‘This is a fantastic way to get an insight into what life was like for our forebears in the Middle Ages’ says Fiona Gale Archaeologist with Denbighshire Countryside Service ‘ The group has come to Loggerheads Country Park to help us celebrate the Festival of British Archaeology 2012 a national event so look out for other activities in north east Wales between July 15th and 29th.’
