The Cynnal Cymru Wales Green List 2010 has been revealed and AM Mick Bates has been recognised for his commitment for over a decade at the Assembly and for his work locally in Montgomeryshire to helping Wales develop a low carbon economy.
The Wales Green List 2010 was launched at a packed hall in the Llangollen Pavilion on 22 November. 52 people who’ve been tackling a range of sustainability issues have been recognised for their extraordinary efforts.
Commenting, Mr Bates said:
“I feel honoured to be a part of the Wales Green List 2010 and congratulate all those who have been selected as Green Heroes.
“The launch of the Green List was an inspiring event, where we heard stories and experiences from people across the country who are leading the way on environmental issues, living sustainable lives and making Wales a brighter place to live.
“I hope that the story of each Green Hero will encourage others to make the small changes in their daily lives that will make a big difference in leading Wales towards a more sustainable, low carbon future.”
