Blackwood Town Centre will turn into a street party with a difference on 16th & 17th July.
The high street, which has now been host to two successful events organised by the council, is again being transformed into an event site that will have the children feeling like they are living the dream!
With successful events such as the Chartist Fair in 2007 and the Dickensian Christmas Market in 2010, the venue is an ideal location to host a fantastic events programme, with the added value of boosting town centre trade.
Children and the young at heart will be descending on the town centre to meet up with some of TV’s most popular characters. From Peppa Pig, Upsy Daisy and Hello Kitty to Fireman Sam, Ben 10 and Bob the Builder, not to mention the traditional favourites Mickey and Minnie Mouse.
Thrown into the mix will be some high quality children’s funfair rides, music, street entertainment, food and craft stalls as well as Punch and Judy, children’s workshops and face painting.
Join in the fun – Blackwood High Street, 9am – 5pm Saturday 16th July, 10am – 4pm Sunday 17th July.
This new event is not to be missed!! Don’t forget to tell all your family and friends!
