Clwyd West AM Darren Millar has been appointed as Shadow Health Minister in the National Assembly for Wales by Acting Welsh Conservative Group Leader, Paul Davies.
Commenting on the appointment Darren said:
‘I’m delighted to have been appointed to this important role and I look forward to holding the Welsh Labour Government to account for it’s management of the Welsh NHS.
‘There are a number of challenges ahead including Labour’s planned £1 billion cuts to the health budget, ambulance response times and growing waiting lists. I also want to work constructively with the new Health Minister to resolve these issues and ensure that health services across the country are protected.’
Darren Millar has previously held Shadow Ministerial briefs on Economy and Transport, Local Government and the Environment.
