Clwyd West Assembly Member Darren Millar has welcomed the announcement of joint working between Conwy and Denbighshire County Councils.
Conwy and Denbighshire Council have announced today that a collaboration board has been set up to oversee joint project aimed at providing better services to residents in both counties.
Darren said:
“This is a welcome initiative.
“I’ve been calling for a more collaborative approach to working between Conwy and Denbighshire for some time. They already have a strong working relationship and today’s announcement will build on that.
“I’m hoping that more joint working will result in monetary savings whilst at the same time delivering an improved service to residents.
“This is a good step in the right direction which should save taxpayer’s cash.”
