Responding to Carwyn Jones’ claim that Labour would ‘focus on delivery’ in a fourth term of Labour Assembly Government, Darren Millar, Assembly Member for Clwyd West, said:
“This is an extraordinary admission of failure from Labour. Labour has had 12 years in government in the Assembly, during which time the standard of public services has got worse.
“Under Labour, Welsh patients are waiting longer for NHS treatment, key school standards in reading, maths and science have dramatically declined and Wales has the poorest economy in the UK.
“Instead of constantly knocking developments in England, Labour Assembly Members should be apologising to the people of Wales for 12 years of disappointment and missed opportunities.”
