Commenting on the latest figures showing a rise in employment in Wales and a fall in economic inactivity rates, Darren Millar AM, Shadow Minister for the Economy, said:
“These figures are encouraging and confound critics of the UK Government’s approach to reducing the nation’s deficit.
“More needs to be done at an Assembly level to help stimulate job creation, which is why Welsh Conservatives would abolish business rates for the majority of Wales’ small businesses and encourage entrepreneurship in our schools.”
