Environment and Sustainable Development Minister John Griffiths will plant a tree at a new community woodland on a local housing estate on Thursday (November 17).
The Minister will also meet some of the children who helped to create Caia Park woodland in Wrexham when he officially opens the fifth Plant! site in Wales at 2.30pm.
Mr Griffiths will praise the efforts of the children from St Anne’s Roman Catholic School, who planted many of the trees now growing in the woodland at the heart of the community.
