Missing person Jeffrey Trick

South Wales Police is continuing to appeal for information on the whereabouts of Jeffrey John Trick, who has been missing from his home in Neath for a month.

Mr Trick, aged 57, from Bryncoch, was reported missing on Wednesday 5th January 2011 and was last seen at approximately 5pm on Tuesday 4th January 2011.

He is white with brown/grey hair. He was last seen wearing his usual works clothing, consisting of a shirt and tie, dark coloured trousers and a blue fleece jacket.

Despite conducting a number of enquiries, police have been unable to trace the missing person.

Mr Trick is a well-known businessman in the Neath area.

Police have appealed to the public for information as to the whereabouts of Mr Trick and carried out searches around his home address in Bryncoch.

Posters have been distributed in the community and at the Liberty Stadium where Mr Trick is a Swansea City season ticket holder.

Detective Chief Inspector Simon Davies of Neath Port Talbot Police said: “The disappearance of Jeff Trick remains unexplained. Neither his family nor the police know of any reason for him to go missing.

“It is exactly one month since he went missing and we have not received any information or had any reports of any sightings since the day he went missing.

“None of our enquiries have taken us any further forward to finding out why he has gone missing and where he could be. His passport remains at his home and there is nothing to suggest he has travelled out of the local area.

“This is obviously a very distressing time for his family and friends and I would appeal to anyone who knows of his whereabouts to contact the police.”

Anyone with information is asked to contact police on 101 or Crimestoppers anonymously on 0800 555 111.
